"Technology, which is based on the principle of absorption of water into triethylene glycol (TEG) is the most used technology for natural gas drying. Recently, adsorption technology is also applied. Each underground natural gas storage must be equipped by the unit for the natural gas dehydratation. A preliminary marketing survey shows that new underground natural gas storages will be built in the near future (an increase of storage capacity by up to 50% till 2015 is expected). ATEKO a.s. a company that designed and delivered natural gas drying technologies for a number of underground storages in the Czech Republic will make a partnership with leading Czech research institutions, which have rich experience in this area. The main goal of the project is to upgrade and optimize the technology for natural gas drying based on TEG absorption and to develop a new technology of natural gas drying based on adsorption."@en .
