"*The project objective is the development of the manufacturing technology of a new generation of modified Al-Mn (EN AW-3003) foils by twin-roll casting and rolling of foils in the Czech Republic. Very thin foils in strain-hardened conditions will be manufactured for application as fins in brazed heat exchangers. The target foils will fulfil the specific requirements on structural, mechanical and corrosion properties imposed by the prospective applications. Foils formability will guarantee a trouble-less fins manufacturing, good strength and sagging resistance after brazing at high temperature. The required properties will be achieved by an appropriate combination of composition and thermo-mechanical processing producing materials with structure strengthened by nano-sizes components.
