The device will determine for the speeds up to 300 km per hour. The Axle Counter will develop as a modular equipment. Nor the number of sensing point neither the number of railway sectors will limited. Track sectors can be connected in any way without the necessity of a HW doubling. The system architecture will be %222 from 2%22. The system will consist of an outdoor device (the sensing point) and an indoor evaluation unit. The sensing point will contain a wheel passage sensor, a mounting kit and a converter. The sensing point is connected in the evaluation unit by 4 wire cabling, which is used for a powering and a data transmission. The software will allow an opportunity to download and upload to a customer.
