"*This project is focused on research and development of the solar cooling unit utilizing thermal energy from solar collectors for production of cool supplied to air-condition units with minimal consumption of electricity. The cooling absorption cycle driven by thermal energy represents basic component of the solar cooling unit. Its research and development will be done in frame of this project. Significantly lower consumption of electricity for cool production (60% in comparison with compressor cooling units) together with long lifetime are main motivation for utilizing of solar cooling units despite their complexity. The solar cooling unit prototype is main result of the project and represents new progressive technology enabling increase in utilizing of renewable solar energy in terms of the most intensive solar radiation."@en . . .
