"The objective of the proposed project is to study the possibilities of immobilization of antimibials on food packaging materials. The solution will be focused on packages in which an antimicrobial agents is incorporated into food contact layer with the intent that it will migrate to the food surface as well as on packages in which an antimicrobial agent is chemically bind to a surface of packaging film so it does not become part of the food yet it still has antimicrobial activity.
