"A simplified, biologically effective procedure of superovulation treatment of embryo donors improving ET realization will be studied and presented. This procedure will reduce labour exigency, animal stress; it will guarantee an appropriate recovery rate and embryo guality. As for cryopreservation, a simple and effective freezing procedure utilizable for direct transfer into recipients will be draft. Study of modern ET technologies will include repeated transvaginal aspiration of oocytes from donor ovaries and production of embryos produced by a chosen parental couple. Adult MOET (elite sire mothers) will be applied for large production of sires; formation of MOET herd utilizable as a model for female population control and selection will be tested experimentally. Molecular-genetic methods specifying polymorphous genetic markers for QTL traits in animals and pre-implanted embryos will be studied as well.
