"New systems of tillage and sowing which are presumed to be of lower energy consumption and of high economic efficiency are recommended not only in densely sown cereal crops but also in other crops, chiefly in winter rape, maize, sunflower and pea. The development of the methods (largely with soil conservation practices) is dependent on the technical design of machines and implements. But it is necessary to tackle problems associated with crop protection againts pests and weeds. Maize and sunflower seed dressing against Elaterid beetles larvae is being proposed to be done. The impacts of wireworm browsing on germinating and emerging seedlings will be study and evaluated. The effect of particular compounds of the dressing preparations on biological quality of seed, germinating and emerging ability as well as developmental and yielding depression at early growth stages will be studied.
