The first one is focused on the chemical control (including the optimalization of rates and testing of the %22latest%22 registered herbicides) of weeds in traditional grass species (Lolium perenne, Lolium multiflorum,Festuca pratensis, Festuca rubra, Festuca ovina, Phleum pratense, Dactylis glomerata, Arrhenatherum elatius, Poa pratensis, Cynosurus cristatus, Alopecurus pratensis and Trisetum flavescens). One of the biggest problems is the eradication of annual and perennial grass weeds (Poa annua, Setaria viridis, Echinochloa crus-galli, Apera spica-venti, Agropyron repens etc) and some dicotylenous species. The main aim of the second part: The effect of different ways of protection against the important disease and pests will be compared in perennial ryegrass, meadow fescue, red fescue and yellow oat grass.
