"In connection with the introduction of new European Codes and also with the need of reconstructions is necessary to strengthen bridge structures in the Czech Republic. An effective alternative is the strengthening of bridges by fibre composites, basedon epoxy and polyester resins and carbon or glass fibres. The aim of the proposed project is the verification of possible strengthening of RC, pre-stressed, steel and composite steel and concrete bridges.
