"The aims of this project are summarized below: - Start a fruitful collaboration between the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University in Prague and Centro Atomico Bariloche - Jointly design and produce sensors for investigations of the transition to turbulence in normal and superfluid helium-4 - Test sensor prototypes in the Prague dilution fridge at temperatures down to 20 mK - Optimize the sensors and perform systematic measurements of the transition to turbulence in the entire temperature range - Adapt the visualization equipment for oscillatory flows and analyse the acquired data - Find the domains of the individual mechanisms of the onset of turbulence \u2013 identify when turbulence is created primarily in the normal component of helium and when the generation of quantized vortices in the superfluid component becomes essential - Find the critical values of the relevant characteristic parameters for a wide range of oscillatory flows - Present the new results in impacted publications and at international scientific conferences focusing on fluid dynamics and low temperature physics"@en .
