"The aim of the project is research of the process of transport of heat and humidity within the structure of advanced silicate based materials, which can be used for reduction of energy demands of buildings and their renovation. It is particularly research of material characteristics of key importance for formulation of hydrothermal behavior of these materials after application on a structure. Then, it is research of behavior of silicate based hydrophobic and hydrophilic thermo-insulating plaster in modern structures with enhanced thermo-insulating properties as well as in historical buildings. As a part of the project, models will be formulated describing transportation of heat and humidity within the structures of advanced silicate based materials and its verification by means of practical measurements. Behavior of researched materials after application in real detail of buildings (doorjamb and window flanning, insulation of peripheral ring or footing mason work) will be tested by computational simulations; material databases and computational models will be used for simulations.
