"Chemical Synthesis of Nanostructured Metal Phosphates by Microwave, Sonochemical and Electrospinning Synthesis"@en . " sonochemistry" . . . "This research proposal is intended to bridge the complementary research lines currently active at Masaryk University Brno, Czech Republic, and University of Cologne, Germany, which relates to systematic study on the novel modes of synthesis of nanomaterials. In this project we will concentrate on the synthesis of important metal phosphates by the nonhydrolytic polycondensation reaction technique which is based on silylamine eliminations from metal amides and phosphoric acid esters. These reactions will be also carried out with the help of ultrasonic irradiation to achieve nanoscopic particle size and amorphous state of the products and microwave irradiation to obtain nanoscopic crystalline metal phosphate powders. The goal of this project is to prepare materials with controlled chemical composition, atomic scale homogeneity, large surface area, adjustable nanoparticle size, and functional groups on the surface. The studied reactions should provide new metallophosphate materials suitable for catalytic, Li intercalation and luminiscence applications."@en .
