"The project aims to gain new knowledge in the field of thermoplastic composites reinforced with nanoparticles in the field of their deformation ability by modern methods. The information about their behaviour with and without the presence of defects (notches) will be obtained. To acquire such data, advanced methods and experimental techniques such as videoextenzometry (contactless on-line measurement of strain during static loading), instrumented hardness and dynamic fracture toughness will be used. The possibility to apply these methods to determine local mechanical properties (LMV) will be verified. The local mechanical properties (and their local deformation gradients, deformation indentation work, relaxation and creep behaviour) and an integral mechanical properties (yield strength, yield strength, fracture toughness) will be determined and models of their relative interaction will be derived."@en .
