"2015-12-31+01:00"^^ . . . . . "9850"^^ . "The goal of the project is a description of soil properties distribution within a sloping agricultural area, which has been impacted by soil erosion. The main objectives are: 1. To find relationship linking terrain attributes to soil properties needed in models describing water flow in soils (including preferential flow). 2. To developed noninvasive methods, which are based on magnetic susceptibility and soil spectroscopy, for gaining information about a soil profile development and soil properties. 3. To validate proposed approaches (which are based on indirect properties measurements and terrain attributes) for soil properties prediction. 4) To apply new findings for modeling of a soil water regime within a sloping area. Results of the project will improve a risk assessment modeling (runoff, surface and subsurface water contamination) related to soil management.
