"Public pressure for the environmental quality leads to a decline of application rates of inorganic fertilizers and higher importance of organic fertilizers applications. The nutrient utilization from the soil labile pool is very common causing potentialrisk in soil fertility. There is necessary to estimate limit values of nutrients in the soil in the harmony with sustainable agriculture to prevent deterioration of soil fertility. The investigation in the most active part of the soil, in the rhizospherecan help to solve this problem and serves as a basis of the project. The experiments will be set up at soils from long-term experiments with different nutrient and crop managements, including sewage sludge application (experiments of Czech University of Agriculture, Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture, and Research Institute of Crop Production are included).
