Regarding the fact that clinical and pathological-anatomic findings are very similar in fish diseases, a precise determination of the agent appears to be necessary. The object of our project is preparation of monoclonal antibodies to some structural viral proteins. Their specificity will be tested in reaction with a panel of related viruses of the family Rhabdoviridae and with some other viruses pathogenic for fish. The prepared monoclonal antibodies will be used in diagnostic methods allowing virus determination in cell cultures and tissue samples from fish cultures."@en .
