"Development and verification of a new methodologies (with the help of the image analysis system) for the following subjects is the main aim the project: - objective assessment of healthy state of trees and stands - evalution of crown parameters (foliage, colour changes, branching, branch sturcture etc.) as a starting point of an ecophyziological studies - increment of mensurational data from digital images In all above-mentioned cases, it is supposed that images captured directly in stands by camcorder will be analysed. Applicability of photographs also will be tested. Tree-ring analysis will be used for increment studies.
