"The aim of the project is the development of new numerical methods for investigation of thermodynamical properties of multicomponent mixtures, testing of alternatives mathematical formulations and numerical methods, and verification and validation on problems with available laboratory data. The laboratory data will be provided by the collaborating institution. The goal is to develop robust methods for solution of thermodynamics of multicomponent mixtures which will capture the thermodynamic behavior of mixtures with sufficient accuracy in agreement with the experimental data. An important aspect is the computational cost of the methods, which are intended to be included later into more complex transport models.
