"The main goal is to contribute to a deeper understanding of properties of the production and transport of the cosmic rays of ultra-high energies in the Universe. Within the project, it is crucial to contribute to the operations, maintenance and improvement of the detection facilities of the Pierre Auger Observatory. Another important goal is to develop methods to probe the properties of the cosmic rays and their sources through the analysis of the extended air showers in the Earth atmosphere that are being detected by the Observatory. Another important goal is to continue the development of technological solutions of optical and other systems for fluorescence telescopes and other devices dedicated to the study of the cosmic rays. Finally, we will test new detection techniques and systems for the study of the cosmic rays both in the laboratory and at the Observatory."@en . .
