"The primary aim of this project is the research of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies which can be used as constructional elements and materials for individual and colletive protection. With using results received in solving the BARI\u00C9RA task in previous years, is expect to solve by way of research some selected applications of nanotechnologies and nanomaterials that enhance service properties of the individual and collective protection. In particular, vill be to focus attention upon the research of nanolayers having barrier and photocatalytic properties, permselective membranes, conductive polymers and nanosensors. The research of polymeric materials with nonporous barrier SiOx-based nanolayer or textile materials with porous nanolayer on the base of the PTFE with \u201ELotus Effect\u201C showing an extreme repellency for CWA drops, are a specific example of the solution. The preparation of porous nanocoatings on the base of metal oxide with photocatalytic effect (TiO2, ZnO, WO3, Fe2O3, Al2O3) for polymeric and textile i self-decontaminating and antibacterial properties, or research of self-deconta-minating permselective NAFION-type membranes can be another examples. The project is also aimed at research and using of the QCM and SAW detectors and nanosensors on the base conductive polymers, fulerens and nanotubes for the evaluation of protective properties of nanostructured barrier and reactive materials against CWA and TICs so that such protective means fulfil the requirements of the upcoming alliance and standardization documents."@en .
