"Measuring station for materials research with application of synchrotron radiation"@en . . . . "The main goal of the project is to build up the measuring station for the materials research at the source of the synchrotron radiation - Elettra in Trieste. The beamline with the monochromator for the energy range 20 eV - 1000 eV will be completed together with technological part including laser deposition, glow discharge deposition, corrosion simulator for technically important metals and alloys, production of catalysators based on nanosized metal particles. As a main experimental tool, the photoelectron spectroscopy will be used. A transport mechanism will enable the sample transfer 'in situ' between analyzing and technological chambers. In the same time, the screening research will be carried out in x-ray diagnostics, mammalogy, microscopand a training of young scientists at different sources of synchrotron radiation.
