Two experiments with collider detectors housed in Tevatron tunnel, CDF and D0, announced in 1995 discovery of the top quark, the sixth quark of the Standard Model of Fundamental Particles and Forces. Submitter of this project participated in the analysis of data collected by D0 detector in Run I (1992-1996) where he focused on the measurement of thetop quark mass in the all-jets channel. The upgrade of both, the Tevatron accelerator (increased energy of beams and luminosity) and D0 detector, which was equiped by faster electronics and new detection components (silicon vertex detector and solenoidalmagnet), will substantially improve conditions for detection and reconstruction of top quark events.
