First part includes Particle-In-Cell (PIC) simulations of unique probes planned for the study of plasma turbulence and measurement of the iontemperature in CASTOR and TORE SUPRA tokamaks. Computer simulations will be a tool for calibration of the probes and for a correct interpretation of experimental results. The study of the anomalous diffusion caused by turbulent potential structures inthe edgeplasma is a subject of the second part of the project which complements the main project GA AV A1043201. The aim is to adapt the PIC model so that it allows to calculate diffusion coefficients, Poincar\u00E9 plots etc. by the use of which thephysical nature of the stochastic dynamics and ion diffusion will be studied in a time-independent and spatially periodical potential field.
