"The present development of wireless communication technologies requires specific properties of antenna radiators, among other thing also from the point of view of the number of used frequency bands. Multiband antenna radiators in planar performance can be implemented by a suitable distribution of the source variables, i.e. currents and charges, on their metallic structure. However their design requires usage of special arrangements, which geometrically modify basic radiator shape. This can be achieved by a division of the planar radiator motif generally with the usage of various disturbing elements such as notches, slots or shorts which enable excitation of suitable higher resonance modes with required radiating properties. With the effort of minimalizing of radiator dimensions and volume radiator shape becomes more compact.
