"The proposed project is focused on study of morphology of pulsating high-speed water jet and its disintegration effects on materials. The following problems will be solved in the project: visualization of pulsating water jet, determination of basic quantitative and qualitative morphological parameters of the pulsating water jet and quantification of its destruction effects on disintegrated materials. The imaging and analytical methods based on image processing and analysis on microscopic and macroscopic level will be used for this purpose. The image analysis methods make the documentation and quantification of destruction effects possible. These methods enable to acquire the geometric data for verification of numerical modelling of pulsatingwater jet and for study of interrelations between the water jet morphology and its disintegration effects.
