"The research project is foccused on gaining new knowledges on deformational properties of high performance concrete, namely about creep and shrinkage. Concrete, that could be characterized as a composite materials containing miscelaneous additives and ingredients are recently widely applied. These components suit the purpose to reach the highest usable final properties of concrete. It appears that existing knowledges on response to permanent long-term load (self-weight, prestressing) and to enviroment influence are not suitable. Failures and accidents, for example of huge span bridge structures, these facts prove. Investigation of these phenomena suppose application of latest measuring systems on the one hand and application of sophisticated theoretical models predicated deformational course of concrete on the other hand."@en .
