The project embraces the characteristic of the development of the earth-timber fortifications inMoravia and the incorporate part of Silesia. The typescript will contain the systematics and terminology of the earth- timber defences, the analyse of the fortifications in tle known sites, as well as the chapters about the relations of the society and fortifications in the main phases of the development ( 4 main phases from pre Great- Moravian period to the early P\u0159emyslide Period, i.e. in the 8th- 12 th century).
