"The main contents if the proposed project is the analysis of regional factors /on the macro-, mezzo- and microregional level/, which influence the economic and social level of single regions and the synthesis of the socio-economic regional structure of the Czech Republic, including the typology. Accent will be laid on the analysis and revelation of the function and position of the main development regions in the economy of the Czech Republic. The significance of these regions is fundamental in the period of the economic transformation, while in the Czech Republic more attention was given more to the peripheral /especially border/ and stagnating regions. The obtained results will be used for the elaboration of the basic principles of the regional economic and social politics in Czech Republic with the accent on the corresponding support of the developing regions."@en . . .
