European Sphecodes species will be used as a good sample for our surveys. All types of specialization both of individuals and species have been found in this group, majority of species are well distributed at localities in central Europe, and the proposers have been studying this group for several years. The authors will study predominantly the specialization, coevolution with hosts, and also compile the determination key of Sphecodes in Europe. Also the genetic variability will be studied using morphological, behavioural, and molecular characters. Outputs will be the following: determination key, review of hosts, and publications about phylogeny and individual specialization.
