"Hydrogen produced biotechnologically becomes a new source of energy. Its content is relatively low in gas mixtures emerging during cultivation of microorganisms. For its separation a membrane process is proposed and will be implemented. Suitable polymeric and composite materials should be searched or synthesized. Membranes of high separation efficiency will be prepared of them. However, water vapor, carbon dioxide and volatile organic compounds present in surplus in the mixture will change the properties of the polymers and membranes. Therefore the study of transport properties of the membranes comprises measurements in swollen and plasticized state. On that account a novel method of permeability measurement is proposed,\u00A0 comprising only a simple modification of the static permeation cell.
