Their important property is the ability to form complexes with lipophilic compounds in aqueous solutions. They have been widely used as structural selectors in capillary electrophoresis (CE). Considerable attention has been paid to the study of additional modifiers improving the structural selectivity of cyclodextrin pseudophase. Positive synergic effect of mixed cyclodextrin-linear polymer pseudophase on the CE separation of optical isomers was found. The objective of this project is focused on the synthesis of new linear gels containing cyclodextrins and their derivatives linked to the acrylamide matrix and on the study of their usability in the capilary gel electrophoresis.
