"HERA collider at DESY, Hamburg, which has operated since 1992 allows to investigate interactions of leptons and hadrons at very high energies. The data obtained so far by experiments using HERA represents a new and rich source of unique informations on the dynamics and structure of matter. The applicants take part in the Hl experiment which has been built by a collaboration of more than 300 physicists from 36 laboratories in 12 countries. A collider upgrade will be performed in 2000 resulting in a substantially increased accelerator luminosity opening a new and up to now experimentally inaccesible physical region. At the same time modernization of the existing and installation of new Hl detectors will be done. In 2000 the applicants will take partin development and construction of new forward silicon detector. After the installation in 2001 they will be responsible for its running and monitoring. They will also participate in the analysis of deep inelasting scattering and determination ofvirtual"@en . . V r. 2000 modernizace urychlova\u010De, kdy bude podstatn\u011B zv\u00FD\u0161ena luminosita, \u010D\u00EDm\u017E se otev\u0159e nov\u00E1, experiment\u00E1ln\u011B dosud nedostupn\u00E1 fyzik\u00E1ln\u00ED oblast. Sou\u010Dasn\u011B se uskute\u010Dn\u00ED modernizace st\u00E1vaj\u00EDc\u00EDch a instalace nov\u00FDch detektor\u016F aparatury H1. V r. 2000 se \u017Eadatel\u00E9 budou pod\u00EDlet na v\u00FDvoji a stavb\u011B p\u0159edn\u00EDho k\u0159em\u00EDkov\u00E9ho detektoru. V r. 2001 p\u0159eberou odpov\u011Bdnost za jeho provoz a monitorov\u00E1n\u00ED.
