This strategic material, however, contains harmful elements and non-ferrous metals, whose content is rising from one year to another above their previous limits. In line with implementation of up-to-date flexible steelmaking units and with enhancement of steel production in the EAFs there is expacted also an enhanced proportion of scrap to be charged for melting high-grade steels subjected to further progressive forming routes.
