"Oxide alkali glass represent one of the most important and extended technical material beeing intensively studied at present in connection with the fixation of radioactive vasts. Exposing a glass by electron beam causes the changes in the glass structure. The atomic bonds break, the point deffects are created and local structure relaxation takes place. Similar changes are found for the irradiated glass by photons or neutrons. Glass irradiated by an electron probe exhibits spontaneous ion migration which begins after some incubation period. Electrical conductivity of the exposed volume increases few orders of magnitude. Structural changes developed in glass can be studied in the scanning electron microscope using X-ray spectroscopy, absorption optical spectroscopy and low angle X-ray diffraction. The aim of this project is to explain the stimulated diffusion of alkali ions and creating the reasonable model for the migration of alkaliions. The research has a great importance for glas"@en .
