"The project is devoted to the preparation of highly textured polycrystalline superconductors on the basis of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-0. The main goal is the achievment of the high critical current densities which are necessary for possible practical applications bysuppression of the influence of the intergrain weak links on the electric transport. Two methods will be used for the preparation of the samples: directional crystallization from melt and growth from solid phase employing of the grain boundaries. The me ntioned methods will be optimized for the preparation of the superconductors on the basis of the phase diagrams studies. Moreover the influence of different fluxes on the condition of the growth and on the micro-structure will be investigated. The properties of the prepared samples will be studied by different experimental methods with the emphasise on the measurement -of the transport critical parameters."@en . . .
