In theory, this involves heat transport inside building and bridge structures. This research presently requires strengthening of engineering theories on the formulation of physical and material laws.The fundamental input will be existing data sets of measurements of bridge structures coming from the previous grant applicant's activity, in particular of Charles Bridge and Nusle Bridge; these will be updated and complemented by new experimental measurements carried out on large bridges.A necessary part of the project is an original design of new procedures of measuring temperature fields and temperature gradients using remote data transfer and processing with the help of Bluetooth and GPRS technologies within the GSM networks that will serve as initial background materials for subsequent phases.The grant"@en . .
