The hydraulic behaviour reflects directly configuration of the soil porous system. The submitted project is aimed at analytical and experimental investigation of the theory of log-normal pore size distribution in bi-modal soil and its application for development of saturation and hydraulic conductivity curves for a broad spectrum of structured soils. The research will be added by a more general model for pore size distribution and by its implementation into soil hydraulic functions of structural and matrix domains of pores. Several catalogue and field hydraulic data will be used to verify the model. It will be implemented in a FEM system ATENA for Multiphase multicomponent pollutant migration in unsaturated and saturated soil.
