"One of the significant features of the current stage of scientific understanding of nature is the progressive development of boundary scientific disciplines aimed especially at obtaining knowledge on living systems. Biomechanics and its branch -hydromechanics of the cardiovascular system- is contributing significantly to our knowledge of the processes that occur in both animate and inanimate matter. Suggested project follows several aims: A. A new hemodynamic laboratory is planned to be built up. This laboratory will be used for practices of a compulsory subject hemodynamic by students of an interdisciplinary study Biomedical and Rehabilitative Engineering and for practices of other fields of engineering, diploma works, research within the framework of Ph.D. studies and various scientific projects.
