"The main goals of the project are to apply and to extend application of the original (developed by the applicant's working team) measuring and evaluation method, based on Preisach-like description of magnetic hysteresis, which is intended for nondestructive testing of ferromagnetic construction materials. In the frame of the main goals we plan to perform in particular 1) detailed analysis of industrially important structure modifications and alterations of selected ferromagnetic materials which exist due to variation of technology of their preparation and as a result of mechanical and thermal degradation processes on ring-shaped samples of graphitic cast iron and of noble steel, including the physical (magnetic and structural) interpretation of results 2) extension of applicability of the Preisach-like hysteresis method to large flat samples, through the design, construction a testing of magnetic inspection heads 3) improvement of quality of the evaluation and interpretation"@en . .
