"This project is focused on the determination of proper geometric representation of image information (we consider digital pictures as well as digital video). In comparison with standard representations, alternative geometric representation allow simple application of affine transformations (e.g., translations, rotation, scaling, etc.) while it does not make convolutions impossible, and, moreover, it has prerequisities to consume less bytes. At present, existing solutions often deal with the representation of grey-scale images only, whilst they exploit the Delaunay triangulation (DT), constrained DT or Data-Dependent triangulations.
