The main goal of the project is detailed description of the entrainment process in thermal plasma jets in different surroundings. The project will be mostly devoted to an experimental investigation and will be focused on the study of the plasma jet interaction with ambient air, with shroud gas, which will be applied at the different regions along the jet, and with the fully controlled atmosphere of the closed reactor filled with some nonreactive gas. Influence of the applied protecting gas, the way of shielding and of the surrounding in the reactor on the plasma jet behavior and on injected particles will be investigated. Modification of particles chemistry connected with particles interaction with jet gases during particle flight through the jet will be studied together with the properties of the result coatings."@en .
