"The main request for the investigation of the electrostatic fluctuations and ExB drifts in edge plasma in magnetic confinement fusion devices is the time and space resolutions of the plasma potential(pp). Up to now, the heavy ion beam probe is used for the direct measurements of the pp, but this is complex and expensive diagnostic, suitable for the core plasma. The emissive probe, which operates only in the edge plasma, is relativly fragile and the interpretation of the measured data is still not clear. The main goal of the grant project is to develop the novel method suitable for the routine measurements of the pp in the edge plasma and test it on different devices (CASTOR,RFX,TORE-SUPRA). The method should satisfy the request for the time and space resolutions, long life time and simple construction.
