Plasma will be generated using novel unique plasma sources with a high potential of being applicable in the textile industry. Special attention will be given to understanding the plasma activation of nano-layers at fibres' surface, interaction of such plasma activated surfaces with nano-particles and to the methods of formation of nano-films without the use of organic solvents or other environmentally problematic chemicals.
