"The aim of the project is the study of tissue and cell localization of newly identified autoantigens and its changes after stimulation by bacterial and/or food antigens. The localization will be studied in tissue section and also on cellular level. The changes are often associatec with exposition of antigenic molecules on cell surface, and their release into extracellular space, where they could become a target of sutoimmune reaction. Subsequently, the role of antoantibodies in pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel diseases and coeliac disease will be analyzed. Direct of IgG and IgA antibodies, isolated from patients' sera, to gliadin and newly identified autoantigens will be followed on the rat experimental model. The antibodies will be intraintestinally administered into jejunum loops and the morphological changes of gut mucosa detected using histological and immunohistological techniques.
