Use of an extensive database of the observatory Pansk\u00E1 Ves resulting from measurements on board our past and in the near future planned satellites (e.g. ACTIVE, APEX, INTERBALL AURORAL, MODUL-M) as well as of newly available data from the NASA and ISAS archives is supposed. Statistical behaviour of regions studied in \"\"climatology\"\" scales and case studies of individual characteristic situations as well as improvement of empirical models of the most important parameters of the thermal plasma including the influence of the solar cycle and geomagnetic activity, hemispheric asymmetry and interaction between individual regions will be dealt with.
