"1"^^ . "The aim of the project is characterization of interactions, molecular structure and dynamics for several types of polymer electrolytes based on poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO). The main aim is to characterize separately crystalline and amorphous phase, and so to contributre to the knowledge of the amorphous phase which is directly connected with a high ionic conductivity. We assume a systematic study of polymer electrolytes based on PEO/LiCF3SO3 and PEO/KSCN complexes with various PEO molecular weight and salt content, systems with crosslinked and possibly also plasticized PEO matrix will be also studied. Dynamics of benzene derivatives (e.g. p-dichlorobenzene) in crosslinked or in another way modified PEO matrix will be also followed. Dominant methods in studies of interactions, structure (geometric, conformational), dynamics and ion association will be solid state NMR spectroscopy (mainly 13C NMR) and vibrational (infrared, Raman) spectroscopy, in correlation with ab initio calculations."@en . . .
