This is of significant importance for proper interpretation of mapping environmental contamination using soil magnetometry method. The study will be performed using a) model laboratory experiments, b) long-term monitoring on test sites, carried out using the same experimental procedure as in laboratory, and c) numerical modeling using models of colloid transport in soils. Migration of anthropogenic ferrimagnetic particles in model laboratory profiles and in real soil layers, will be monitored using magnetic method, based on a new \"\" soil profile kappameter SM400\"\". Effects of the soil porosity and water regime on migration of magnetic particles, contained in atmospherically deposited dust, will be examined.
