"The project proposes to prepare samples of soft magnetic materials consisting of nanocomposite multilayers based on 3d-metals especially nitride or oxide films of types (FeCo)p-(XY)1-p, where X = Al,Ta,Hf,Ti,Si and Y = N,O. The expectation, that these materials are of outstanding magnetic properties and thus they can have important industrial applications for GHz-inductors in mobile communication or for magnetic field sensors or reading heads of high density recording memories, will be proved by direct measurement. Up to now it is difficult to prepare these materials of necessary purity, proper chemical composition and structure. An unique deposition apparatus with the plasma jet will be constructed and used for this purpose. It will be completed with devices necessary for multilayer deposition, sputtering from insulating targets and for controlled induced magnetic anisotropy of samples. This way, also a practically efficient method of manufacturing the materials will be developed."@en .
