"19"^^ . . "0"^^ . "The project aims at the experimental investigations and analysis of organised structures generated in plasma jets. A special attention will be paid to the confrontation of i) the experimental data about the patterns acquired in the form of long time series reflecting the local temporal evolution of the plasma optical radiation or electrical potential and ii) information about the spatial forms of the structures acquired by means of a fast CCD camera system. Different types of plasma jets will be used for the experiments: classical jets with argon gas, water stabilised jets and their combination. The effect of different physical parameters of these plasma jets (especially different plasma velocities and densities) on the formation of spatial patterns will be thus studied. The evaluation of the measured time series will be based on the Fourier analysis and wavelet transform affording the information about the frequencies of significant oscillations present in the plasma jets."@en .
