Phytochemical composition and antioxidant properties of several Mentha species were determined. Our interest was focused on comparison of spectrophotometrically obtained antioxidant characteristics and HPLC fingerprints of methanolic and aqueous extracts obtained by means of different sample pre-treatment procedures.
